The Helambu Eco Trekking begins in Sundarijal from where you make your way through villages such as Chisapani and Gul Bhanjyang to reach the Helambu Village Eco Trekking starting in Kutumsang. This trek is a good way to witness the culture of the Hyolmo ethnics who rigorously follow the practices of Tibetan Buddhism. One of the highlights of this trek is the Hyolmo village of Tarkeghyang, also known as Helambu, which is home to the ancient Gekye Gompa exhibiting the true culture and art of the Hyolmo ethnics. The majestic views of Langtang Himal View and Ganesh Himal Ranges accompany throughout the trek. The trek takes you through some nice rhododendron and bamboo forests, majestic waterfalls, and ancient monasteries. Our walk is going to be through lush forests of rhododendron and oaks until we reach the small village of Chisapani, where alluring views of the Himalayas await us. Overnight in Chisapani.
With magnificent views of Langtang Lirung (7227) to the north, we make our way to Gul Bhanjyang after crossing Pati Bhanjyang. We will be making many uphill and downhill walks today before we reach the Hyolmo settlement of Kutumsang. Overnight in Kutumsang.
We will be walking on the ridge of Yurin Hill with beautiful views of the Langtang peaks.
