Annapurna trekking region is considered as second most popular trekking destination in Nepal which is located mid-north of the country or Kathmandu valley. For the purpose of protecting the local environment and ecosystem, Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) is engaged in this region since 1986. ACAP protects some flowers like Rhododendron which is the national flower of Nepal, verities of Orchids, Most endangered species of birds and animals including natural beauties of nature. This conservation is the first conservation in Nepal.
