Annapurna region consists many options of trekking in Nepal. Annapurna base camp trekking, Ghorepani poonhill trekking, Annapurna circuit trekking, upper mustang trekking are mostly done. But, among those trekking in Annapurna region, khopra trekking is done less or khopra trekking is less discovered trekking trail in Annapurna region trekking.

Khopra Danda trekking trail is recently opened for the trekkers. It’s been hardly 9 or 10 years only and it’s started to trek a little more since 2/3 years only. Khopra hill trekking is famous for it’s richness of nature and extra-ordinary scenic landscape, scenic mountain chains- Annapurna mountain chain, dhawalagiri mountain chain and Manaslu mountain chain to the north-west of Khopra Hill. Annapurna I (8091m), Annapur Hiuchuli (6441m), Annapurna South (7229m), Lamjung Himal (6986m), Nilgiri (7041m) and Holy mountain of Annapurna trekking region- Mt. Machhapuchhre (6961m) are the breathe taking mountain views from Mudai Danda in Khopra Eco trekking. And aslo, we can see Ratna Chuli and Ngadi Chuli mountains which are from Manaslu mountain ranges’. And, apart of them, there is an opportunity to discover- Khayar Lake (4500m) from one day hike from Khopra to Lake.

The best season for Khopra Hill trekking is March, April and the first week of May for the aspect of flower like Amelica Primula, Rhododendron- the national flower of Nepal, Bamboo, Magnolia and many more. Lusty forest of Rhododendron, Pine, Oak and wild Cherry blow the mind of trekkers. National bird of Nepal- Lophophorus inpejanus or Danfe in Nepali, Pheasant, Spiny Babbler, Cheer Pheasant, Fire-tailed Sunbird, and Great barbet are main birds’ species in Khopra Trekking Bird. Temperarture of khopra trekking is adorable as it is 18/20 degree in day time during winter and -2 to -4 in night time approximately. And, in general time like October, November or March and April, is quite fitted. So, thoese trekkers, who look for alternative trekking instead of Poonhill Ghorepani trekking, is suitable for them.
